Wajir Women for Peace (WWFP) is a pioneering community-based organization founded with the mission of fostering peace, security, and development in Wajir County and the greater Somali cluster. Officially established on April 10, 2002, under Wajir Peace Development as a group, and officially registered as a CBO on April 19, 2010, WWFP emerged in response to the devastating clan conflicts that plagued Wajir in the 1990s.
